Kelly Rowland (* 11. Februar 1981 in Atlanta, Georgia; als Kelendria Trene Rowland) ist eine US-amerikanische Pop- und R&Bsängerin. Bekannt wurde sie durch die Popband Destiny’s Child.
Rowland begann ihre Solo-Karriere 2002, mit der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Studioalbums Simply Deep. Die erste Single Dilemma die sie mit dem Rapper Nelly aufnahm, erreichte in 8 Ländern Platz 1 sowie in 19 Ländern die Top 10 der Singlecharts. Nach der Auflösung der Destiny’s Child 2005, nahm Rowland ihr zweites Studioalbum auf, dass sie 2007 unter der Namen Ms. Kelly veröffentlichte. 2011 erscheint ihr drittes Studioalbum Here I Am.[1]
